Infinite looping is possible with service initialization

Description

I have found a potentially lurking bug that keeps IJ2 from launching. If you add an @Parameter StatusService instance field to the LegacyService class IJ2 will not launch. Lots of stuff is barfed to the console. It appears the initialization code may be stuck looping.

Can no longer duplicate. Added the StatusService to master with commit 290215c15795a869adae28ca8b97cd9b0d956606
