Description
When we updated our Hudson to use IJ 1.45i some tests broke. Wayne removed some functionality from IJ that breaks our patches (ImageCanvas and ImagePlus). If the methods that use extinct code simply comment out the calls many many tests fail.
We need to retire our patches as they have no applicability anymore. Bute we should keep the tests around. So modify our proects such that the tests are standalone and can be used by Wayne if desired.
Once this is done talk to Wayne about broken tests, their online availability, and what he'd like to do going forward.
This ticket will start with Curtis and be reassigned as needed.

Fixed in 9fc9ac6599c279bc83eb0a62d922f34517c47e37, b51494bb19c094b4430d3936a5e30383c722b35a and d1d4ffd94096a0843e751533d909513faaccb7c3.
I wrote instructions on how to run the tests as well as a blog post describing the current situation.

I have emailed the list explaining where things are at.
The _ij1-patches project was renamed to ij1-tests in 661e961299b534c318dcb3fba888b735d4d472b8, and the patched classes were removed, leaving only the unit tests.
Unfortunately the project does not currently compile, as there are a few places where the code relied on API modifications in the patches. We still need to eliminate those few spots, then email Wayne, and then this ticket can be closed.
