Decide what to do about the annoying channel scrollbar when looking at photographs

Description
When loading photographs, we do have RGB images and most users do not care about a channel scrollbar since we display all channels at once anyway. Maybe we should make the scrollbar optional (and off by default) in composite channel mode.
