The SamplerService (used by the DuplicatePlugin) currently does not handle overlays or metadata. Since there is possible subsampling the support of these might not make sense. However if its desired we should expand the sampler to do so.
Notes
- IJ1 can only handle one overlay during duplication.
- must test how or if IJ1 handles metadata
- In IJ2 we must determine what plane position an overlay is tied to for a given display. Check that we can.
