Description

Drag and dropping an image opens a text file showing the header

MM [unprintable characters... etc]

Gabriel, I can drag and drop TIFs (and PNGs and likely others) on the current build (pre-beta 6) and it works. I drop in the status line of the app. Are you dropping elsewhere? Can you retest? If you can duplicate maybe you'll need to attach a test file.

Hi Barry, Sorry for the silence, I have been away and with no way of testing.
Yes, I seem to be able to drag and drop files now, in the updated beta4-dev
I guess that this might have been a Java problem that caused a number of other issues before (menu entries not accessible and so on). There were a few updates of openjdk 1.7 for linux since I reported those.
