There are some bugs remaining from the recent headless display refactoring (as well as some things that probably did not work completely correctly even before that).

(In #1113) This is "mostly" working as of the fix-zoom branch merger. However, there is a remaining bug in that the first time you zoom in, the window packs incorrectly and scroll bars appear. This ticket will remain open until that problem is fixed.
