ShowPrefs plugin needs some work

Description
The ShowPrefs plugin was originally going to contain code for displaying preferences and clearing them too. Right now the clearing code is all that is in place.
1) rename this plugin to PreferencesPlugin
2) maybe make it do more than just allow clear. add code to display editable prefs.
