Description

In IJ1 if you open a new HyperStack of 3 channels and run Stack To Images you get three images of different colors and the original image goes away.

In IJ2 using same way to create HyperStack and running same command you get three grey images and the original image does not go away.

IJ2 will now close original image. Colors are still all grey. Note that with IJ1 if num images <= 7 each one gets a unique color. However if 8 or more slices each one is red. We should define behavior we think is right. All grey may be okay.
