Description
Development of a units subpackage in Imglib2 is laid out in ticket #1622. After work is done in a branch solicit community feedback and incorporate chages to imglib subproject.

This part of the project is complete. CTR implemented the img-metadata subproject that was merged to master recently.
ctrueden is reviewing an initial implementation of some of the ideas in the axes branches of imglib2 and imagej2. he will perhaps craft a letter to imglib developers re: its api and IJ2's needs going forward.
